Morning · Luhu Art Exhibition Centre Your first stop is the Art Exhibition Centre — the cultural heart of Luhu. The building itself is worth the visit: a contemporary structure that sits directly on the water, designed to dissolve the boundary between architecture and lake. Your host walks you through the current exhibition and introduces the artistic vision that shapes life in this community.

Morning · Private Boat Ride · Community Showroom Board a private boat from the Art Centre jetty and cross the lake. The shoreline stretches for kilometres in every direction — residential architecture, waterside boardwalks, and green spaces that make this feel less like a city and more like somewhere entirely invented. The boat docks at the community showroom. Your host takes you inside — not to sell anything, but to show you what it looks like when a residential community is designed around how people actually want to live.

Morning · Luke Island · Mini Off-Road Vehicles Back on the boat to Luke Island — the recreational heart of Luhu and the place residents come to on weekends. Switch to mini off-road vehicles and explore the island at your own pace: grassland paths, lakeside tracks, art installations appearing around corners, and views of the water from every direction. The best way to cover the island. Also the most fun.

Morning · Kayaking & Paddleboarding Park the vehicles and get on the water. Luhu's lake is calm, clean, and completely free of motor traffic — ideal conditions for kayaking and paddleboarding. No experience necessary. Your host is on the shore throughout; confident paddlers can explore freely, first-timers get full guidance before they push off.

Morning · Wildlife Farm After the water, a walk to Luke Island's small wildlife farm. Rabbits, alpacas, peacocks, and other animals live here in open enclosures. Feed them, photograph them, or simply sit nearby. No schedule, no rush.

Midday · Lakeside Tent Lunch Lunch is served in the canvas tent area on Luke Island's shore — lake breeze, grass underfoot, Chengdu's skyline visible across the water. After lunch, the tent is yours. Rest, read, or simply do nothing for a while. This is how Luhu residents spend their Sunday afternoons. Today, it is how you spend yours.

Afternoon · CPI — Chengdu's Most Photogenic District When you are ready, your host walks you to CPI — one of Chengdu's most architecturally distinctive commercial districts and the most photographed corner of Luhu. Your host knows every angle. Walk through, take photographs, stop for a coffee. No agenda.

Afternoon · Wilderness Kingdom On to Wilderness Kingdom — Luhu's most unusual space. Large-scale art installations are scattered across a semi-wild landscape, each one designed to surprise. Your host explains the concept behind each piece. Every photograph taken here looks like nothing else from Chengdu.

Afternoon · Luhu Wave Park The final stop: Luhu Wave Park. Skateboarding, archery, climbing wall, badminton, tennis, and pickleball — all available to residents and their guests. Choose everything, choose one thing, or choose nothing and watch from the lakeside. Your host is with you either way. This part of the day belongs entirely to you.

Evening · Dinner at CPI After the park, dinner at one of CPI's most popular restaurants — the kind of place Luhu residents book on a Tuesday night just because they feel like it. Good food, good design, no tourist pricing.

End of Tour · Hotel Drop-Off After dinner, your driver returns you to your hotel. Your host says goodbye — and you leave with a list of everything they would do if they had one more day in Chengdu.
