Morning · Hotel Pickup Your driver arrives at your hotel lobby at 09:00 for the 30-minute drive to Chengdu's professional skydiving base.

Morning · Arrival · Ground Training Arrive at the base and begin with a full one-on-one ground training session. Your instructor covers everything in plain English: the jump sequence, body position, the exit technique, when the parachute deploys, how to land, and — most importantly — how to relax your body and actually enjoy the 25 seconds of freefall rather than just survive them. Approximately 45 minutes. By the time you board the aircraft, you know exactly what is coming.

Change into your jumpsuit. Goggles on. Equipment fitted and checked.

Morning · Board the Aircraft · Climb to 3,000 Metres Board the aircraft with your instructor. The climb to 3,000 metres takes approximately 15–20 minutes. As the altitude rises, the Chengdu Plain unfolds beneath you — the city grid, the surrounding farmland, the mountain ranges at the edge of the Sichuan Basin. The view alone is worth the flight. Your handheld camera operator is in the cabin with you, capturing your face as the ground gets further away.

Morning · Exit · 25 Seconds of Freefall The door opens.

Wind fills everything.

Your instructor takes you out of the aircraft. Freefall begins — 25 seconds, close to 200km/h, the Chengdu Plain rushing toward you faster than your brain can process. Your camera operator exits with you simultaneously, recording every frame of those 25 seconds from the moment you leave the door to the moment the parachute opens.

The chute deploys. The speed drops instantly. The world goes quiet.

What follows is several minutes suspended in open sky above the Chengdu Plain — the city below, the mountains at the horizon, nothing between you and all of it. Your instructor steers the canopy in slow arcs as you descend. This part, most jumpers say, is the part they want to last longer.

Morning · Landing · Certificate Touch down safely on the landing zone.

Your heart rate will take a few minutes to catch up with the fact that you are back on the ground. Your skydiving certificate is ready and waiting. The handheld video is processed and sent directly to your phone.

Midday · Lunch Return to the city for lunch at a local restaurant. Your guide recommends based on your preference. Spice level adjusted in advance — fully mild available on request.

Afternoon · Return to Hotel After lunch, your driver returns you to your hotel.
