Tour Highlights
Zero Tourist Crowds: We completely bypass the packed main streets of Kuanzhai Alley, choosing instead to explore the quiet, hidden backstreets known only to locals.

Immersive Slow Life: Sink into a bamboo chair, sip a traditional Gaiwan tea, watch locals play Mahjong, and observe the incredibly relaxing traditional "ear-cleaning" service.
Old Meets New: Stroll under century-old trees along Republic-era streets, and weave through vibrant back alleys filled with street art and indie cafes.

Detailed Itinerary
Stop 1: People's Park — The Microcosm of Chengdu Society We meet at People's Park, the ultimate "outdoor living room" for locals. Prepare to be amazed by the famous Matchmaking Corner, where we'll decode the fascinating traditional Chinese marriage culture. Afterward, we will grab a seat at the century-old Heming Teahouse, sipping tea while surrounded by hundreds of locals chatting and playing Mahjong.
Stop 2: Citang Street & Dongsheng Road — A Walk Through the 1920s Leaving the teahouse, we stroll through the newly revitalized Citang Street. Flanked by historic red-brick buildings and giant French plane trees, this area exudes a peaceful Republic-era vibe. We will continue through the quiet Dongsheng Road and Binsheng Street, enjoying the perfect blend of old architecture and modern creative boutiques.

Stop 3: Paotongshu & Xiaotong Alley — The Calm Behind Kuanzhai Alley While thousands of tourists bump shoulders on the main streets of Kuanzhai Alley, we will slip into its peaceful "backdoor" neighborhoods: Paotongshu Street and Xiaotong Alley. Shaded by beautiful trees, these alleys hide stylish independent shops and tranquil courtyards, showing you the incredible contrast between a tourist zone and a real living neighborhood.
Stop 4: Kuixinglou Street — Street Art & Foodie Paradise Our walk concludes at Kuixinglou Street, the trendy gathering spot for Chengdu's youth. The old residential walls here are covered in striking street graffiti, but more importantly, the air is filled with the mouth-watering aroma of authentic hot pot and skewers! I will point out the best hidden local eateries (famous "fly restaurants") so you can kick off your culinary adventure right away.
