What You Will Experience

Morning: The Giant Panda Breeding Research Base We start early—and for a good reason.

Arriving right when the gates open means we beat the heavy crowds and, more importantly, we catch the pandas during their most active time: breakfast! You’ll have plenty of time to watch adult pandas munching on bamboo, see the playful yearlings tumbling around, and hopefully spot the tiny newborns in the nursery. As your local guide, I know the best routes through the park to maximize your time.

Lunch: A Real Taste of Sichuan Forget the overpriced tourist cafeterias.

For lunch, we’ll take you to a local, hidden-gem restaurant. Whether you want to challenge yourself with authentic, fiery Sichuan dishes or prefer mild, savory flavors, we’ll order a meal tailored perfectly to your taste buds.

Afternoon: Tea Houses and Hidden Alleys After a satisfying meal,

we dive into the true rhythm of Chengdu. We’ll head to a traditional outdoor tea house (like the famous one in People's Park). You’ll sit back in a bamboo chair, sip jasmine tea, and watch the locals playing Mahjong, chatting, or even getting traditional ear cleanings. Later, we’ll wander through some of Chengdu's historic alleys. While we might briefly pass by the popular spots, we focus on the quieter, authentic backstreets where real local life happens.
